SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY
At SolTrim International we are passionate about empowering our community and giving back to those in need. As part of our CSR initiatives, we are involved with three different schools for disabled youth to provide them with the education and resources for a sustainable life.
Education without Boundaries
We sincerely believe that all children have a right to a sound and steadfast education regardless of impairments. This is why we make a monthly donation to the Chitra Lane School for the Special Child. Founded in 1967, the school is a government approved charity which assists over 200 children with special needs. It is necessary to educate our youth, especially those who need it the most for a brighter future.
The Ceylon School for the Deaf and Blind
The Ceylon School for the Deaf and Blind educate over 700 children with hearing and sight impairments. Every month we take part in paving the way for a child to have the opportunity to an education for their future. The school is a firm believer in the concept of innovative education, vocational training, and other services that will enable these children to take on the future with confidence.
The Treasure Senkadagala Deaf & Blind School
Founded in 1962, The Treasure Senkadagala Deaf & Blind School has over 17 institutions across Sri Lanka providing learning experiences for those who need it the most. As part of our mission to make education available to our community, we take humble pride in assisting this school on a monthly basis with educational resources and assistance.
